Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2011

12. – 17. aprile 2011  |  Padiglione 20  |  Posto F18  |  Nuova Fiera Rho Pero

Nils Holger Moormann thought it would be a grandiose idea to visit the exhibition without the new wardrobe…

Wardrobe looking for wall.
Lodelei, 94/38/193, values elegant loden, loves the company of jackets and coats, with consistent sagginess and in need of care. Looking for a stable place with a strong wall to lean on for mutual hanging around.

Design Martin Pärn, Edina Dufala-Pärn, 2011

NILS HOLGER MOORMANN – Stellvertreter by  Stephan Schulz 2009

The Stellvertreter stands its ground. While the 1. Stellvertreter puts its best foot forward with a big man’s footprint, the 2. Stellvertreter has an additional children’s footprint and a shoe brush. Either way, these two object wardrobes always give you a warm welcome.

CERRUTI BALERI – Bloom by Jeff Miller

Bloom is an original coat-hanger that integrates exceptional aesthetic and functional innovations. When it is closed, while its external diameter is contained and its physical bulk reduced, it reveals a form with great visual impact: light, harmonious and dynamic, defined by eight arms made of solid wood and a chromed metal base. Bloom rotates around a central stem thus allowing unimpeded access to each of the arms even when it is positioned in a corner or near a wall. Like petals the arms open individually when weighted with a coat and close when this is removed. The angle of the open arm makes the hanging coat look as if it is suspended in space, preventing a “heaped-upon” look. Bloom is stable, functional, elegant and above all surprising.

Coat-hanger with chromed steel structure and eight arms made of solid natural or moka ash wood. Bloom can rotate around the central stem thus allowing an easy access to each of the arms which open individually when weighted with a coat and close when this is removed.

TVEIT & TORNØE ON THE DESIGN “This characteristic little family of hooks is a friendly
addition to any wall. The Dots are proud of their round edges and will treat your clothes with
the greatest care. They will also let you arrange them on your wall in the pattern you like.
Being a very social set of hooks, The Dots love to welcome other Dots to join them on the
wall. The only thing The Dots demand from you is that you uncover them every now and
then and admire their shape and material.”

Tveit&Tornøe was established in September 2006, but has already received much
recognition. In 2007 they received the Young Talent award of the Year in Norway.
