TAF ARCHITECTS ON THE DESIGN “Our idea was to update the classic Scandinavian
wood table. The result has obvious references to traditional Scandinavian furniture making
but the choice of materials and detailing give it a new expression. Furthermore, we wanted
to make the table adaptable to personal needs – with a choice of 4 different table tops, 4
frames and 4 types of legs there are 64 ways to create a personal and unique table.”

TAF is a Stockholm-based architecture and design studio consisting of Gabriella Gustafson
and Mattias Ståhlbom. TAF’s aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but
effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. TAF’s products
have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as MOMA NY and the Swedish National
Museum in Stockholm.
